Holiday Art Market (HART) 2015 at Foothills Art Center

The 41st Annual Holiday Art Market (HART) at Foothills Art Center is the premier venue for fine art and craft handmade in Colorado. The exhibition runs November 14 – December 30, 2015, and is free to the public. Admission attracts thousands of shoppers who spend over $100,000 at HART. All proceeds benefit local Colorado artists and Foothills Art Center programming.

Only artists and artisans who live and work in Colorado are eligible. FAC seeks fine art and fine crafts in all media suitable for holiday shopping: oil, acrylic, water media, pastel, pencil, paper, printmaking, photography, digital arts, mixed-media, ceramics, jewelry, glass, fiber, metal, wood, edibles, and holiday-themed items. All work must be original and handmade by the artist. Commercially manufactured components, commercial patterns, and molds of any type will not be accepted. Artists are juried rather than individual artworks, and work is shown by consignment only. Historically, items priced between $3 and $750 (fine art up to $1,200) have sold best. Accepted work must be ready to display with proper hanging mechanisms (wire with wrapped ends or D rings; no sawtooth hangers).

Entry fee is $30. Submit 4-10 images that accurately represent your body of work. Online entry deadline is August 31, 2015. Notifications will be sent via email by September 11, 2015. Artist contracts are due by September 28, 2015. All work must be hand-delivered November 5-7, 2015, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm by appointment only. FAC retains a 50% commission on all sales. Artwork pickup is January 7-9, 2016 by appointment only. Artist commission checks are mailed February 1, 2016.
