HMVC Gallery presents Vibrant Visions

HMVC Gallery invites artists to submit work for "Vibrant Visions," an online group show celebrating color in art. The exhibition runs November 1-30, 2023.

Artists may submit up to 20 artworks for juror consideration. One artwork from each selected artist will be featured in the group show. Submissions must include high-quality images, an artist bio, and an artist statement. Accepted image formats are JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, SVG, and WEBP with dimensions between 1200-2560 pixels on the longest side and file size under 2 MB. All visual art mediums are welcome except video/film. The entry fee is $25 for the first submission and $10 for additional entries (non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance). Digital entries must be received by October 25, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email by October 31st.

All participating artists will be featured on HMVC Gallery's website and virtual gallery platform and will receive a certificate of participation. A video featuring all participating artists' work will be screened on a Times Square jumbotron billboard in November. Cash prizes are awarded: Best of Show ($150), Second Place ($100), and Third Place (one-month online solo show plus solo certificate). Winners of cash prizes must have a working PayPal account; prizes will be sent within 14 days of response. By submitting images, artists grant HMVC Gallery New York the right to use their images on the website, social media, and online for promotion, with full credit and copyright remaining with the artist.
