HMVC Gallery presents Summer Lovin'

HMVC Gallery presents an online group art exhibition titled "Summer Lovin'" celebrating artistic interpretations of summertime. Artists in all visual media are welcome to submit, except AI-created art and video/film. The exhibition runs from July 1st through July 31st, 2025.

Submissions must be received by June 26th, 2025 at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time. Artists may submit up to 20 artworks for juror consideration; one artwork from each selected artist will be featured in the group show. High-quality images, an artist bio, and an artist statement are required. Accepted image formats include JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, SVG, and WEBP, with dimensions between 1200-2560 pixels on the longest side and file size under 2 MB. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email by June 30th.

Entry fee is $35 for the first submission and $10 for additional entries (non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance). All participating artists will be featured on the HMVC Gallery website and virtual gallery, receive a certificate of participation, and have their work included in a video screening on a Times Square jumbotron billboard in July. Cash prizes are awarded: Best of Show ($150), Second Place ($100), and Third Place (online solo show at HMVC Gallery for one month plus solo certificate). Winners of cash prizes must have a working PayPal account; prizes will be sent within 14 days of response. Jurors are Heini Mika and Vincent Chang. By submitting, artists grant HMVC Gallery the right to use images for promotion on their website, social media, and online platforms, with full credit and copyright remaining with the artist.
