HMVC Gallery presents Moments 2

HMVC Gallery invites artists to submit work for "Moments 2," the gallery's second annual online exhibition celebrating moments that have impacted artistic journeys and lives. The exhibition welcomes artworks from all mediums of visual art, except AI-created art and video/film. Artists can submit up to 20 high-quality images for juror consideration, though only one artwork per selected artist will be featured in the group show. Submissions must include an artist bio and artist statement.

Digital entries must be received by March 27, 2025 before 11:59 p.m. EST. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email by March 31, 2025. The show will premiere on April 1 and end on April 30. All participating artists will be featured on the HMVC Gallery website and virtual gallery, receive a certificate of participation, and have their work included in a video screening on a Times Square jumbotron billboard in New York City.

Awards include: Best of Show ($150), Second Place ($100), and Third Place (online solo show at HMVC Gallery for one month plus solo certificate). Cash prize winners must have a working PayPal account; prizes will be sent within 14 days of response. The submission fee is $35 for the first entry and $10 for additional entries (non-refundable, does not guarantee acceptance). Image requirements: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, SVG, or WEBP format; minimum 1200 pixels on longest side, maximum 2560 pixels; under 2 MB. Jurors are Heini Mika and Vincent Chang. By submitting, artists grant HMVC Gallery New York the right to use images on their website, social media, and online promotions, with full credit and copyright remaining with the artist.
