HMVC Gallery presents [Home]

HMVC Gallery is hosting an online group art show celebrating artworks depicting the concept of home. The exhibition welcomes submissions from all mediums of visual art, except abstract work, AI-created art, and video/film. Artists can submit up to 3 artworks for consideration; if selected, one artwork per artist will be featured in the show.

Submissions must be received by May 28th, 2023 before 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email by May 31st. The show will premiere on June 1st and run through June 30th. The entry fee is $40 for up to 3 images and is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. High-quality images must be submitted in JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, SVG, or WEBP format with dimensions of 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side and file size under 2 MB. Artists must also provide an Artist Bio and Artist Statement.

All selected artists will be featured on the HMVC Gallery website and virtual gallery platform and will receive a certificate of participation. Cash prizes will be awarded: Best of Show ($150), Second Place ($100), and Third Place (an online solo show running for one month plus a solo certificate). Winners of cash prizes must have a working PayPal account to receive their prize money within 14 days of responding to HMVC. All entries will be judged by jurors Heini Mika and Vincent Chang. By submitting, artists grant HMVC Gallery New York the right to use their images on the website, social media, and online to promote exhibitions, with full credit and copyright remaining with the artist.
