HMVC Gallery presents Creativity Unbound

HMVC Gallery invites artists from all backgrounds and disciplines to participate in "Creativity Unbound," a September group exhibition exploring the spectrum of creativity. The exhibition welcomes artworks from all mediums of visual art except AI-created art and video/film, including mixed media, digital art, sculpture, painting, and beyond. Artists are encouraged to showcase work that demonstrates originality, style, technique, artistry, and authentic self-expression. Submissions will be judged on artwork originality, style, technique, artistry, and the quality of the Artist Bio and Artist Statement.

Artists may submit up to 20 artworks for consideration; one artwork from each selected artist will be included in the group show. Digital entries must be received by August 27, 2025 before 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email by August 31, 2025. The show will premiere on September 1, 2025 and end on September 30, 2025. All participating artists will be featured on the HMVC Gallery website and virtual gallery, receive a certificate of participation, and have their work featured in a video screening on a Times Square jumbotron billboard in New York City.

Awards include: Best of Show winner ($150), Second Place winner ($100), Third Place winner (online solo show), and a Blick Art Materials Award ($100 e-gift card). Winners of cash prizes must have a working PayPal account; prizes will be sent within 14 days of response. The Third Place winner will receive a solo show at HMVC Gallery New York running for one month. Entry fee is $35 for the first entry and $10 for additional entries (non-refundable, does not guarantee acceptance).
