HMVC Gallery presents Abstract Realm

HMVC Gallery presents an online group art show celebrating abstract art. The exhibition welcomes artworks from all mediums of visual art, except AI-created art and video/film. Artists can submit up to 20 artworks for juror consideration; one artwork from each selected artist will be included in the group show.

Entry deadline is May 29th, 2025 at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email by May 31st. The show will premiere on June 1st and run through June 30th. Entry fee is $35 for the first entry and $10 for additional entries (non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance). Media fee is $10. Submissions must include high-quality images of artwork, an Artist Bio, and an Artist Statement. Accepted image formats are JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, SVG, and WEBP with dimensions between 1200-2560 pixels on the longest side and file size under 2 MB.

All participating artists will be featured on the HMVC Gallery website and virtual gallery and will receive a certificate of participation. A video clip featuring all participating artists' artworks will be screened on a jumbotron billboard in Times Square in June. Awards include: Best of Show winner ($150), Second Place winner ($100), and Third Place winner (online solo show at HMVC Gallery for one month plus solo certificate). Winners of cash prizes must have a working PayPal account; prizes will be sent within 14 days of response. Jurors are Heini Mika and Vincent Chang. By submitting, artists grant HMVC Gallery New York the right to use their images on the website, social media, and online to promote exhibitions, with full credit and copyright remaining with the artist.
