HMVC Gallery December Group Art Show: 2020

HMVC Gallery New York is hosting a December group art show titled "2020." Artists are invited to submit work that reflects on moments, events, or experiences from 2022. Digital entries must be received by November 27th, 2022 before 11:59 p.m. EST. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email by November 30th. The show will premiere on December 1st and end on December 31st.

Artists must submit high-quality images of their artwork along with an Artist Bio and Artist Statement. Up to 3 artworks may be submitted for consideration, though only 1 artwork per artist will be included in the group show. Accepted image formats include JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, SVG, and WEBP with dimensions of 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side and file size under 2 MB. Artworks from all mediums of visual art are welcome, except video/film. The submission fee is $40 for up to 3 images. All entries will be judged by jurors Heini Mika and Vincent Chang, whose decision is final.

All participating artists will be featured on the gallery's website and virtual gallery platform, promoted in the newsletter and on Instagram (@hmvcgallery), and will receive a certificate of participation. Two winners will be selected to have their own solo shows the following month, each lasting two weeks, with additional promotion and a second certificate recognizing their achievement.
