Historical Landmarks of the World: A Virtual Juried Photo Exhibit

Photo Art Pavilion invites photographers of all levels to submit work for Historical Landmarks of the World: A Virtual Juried Photography Exhibit. This open call seeks high-quality photographs that capture the visual beauty and unique qualities of historical landmarks from around the world. Submissions may showcase the essence of a landmark or present abstract and unusual artistic interpretations. The juror is Joanne Henig, a curator and co-founder of Photo Art Pavilion with over 30 years of professional photography experience.

Photographers may submit up to 5 images per $35 entry fee. All submissions must be in JPEG/JPG format with the longest edge of 1200 pixels and file size of 5MB or smaller, free of watermarks or branding. The submission deadline is April 19th, 2024. Selected works will be displayed in perpetuity in an online gallery on PhotoArtPavilion.com. The virtual reception and awards presentation will be held online via Zoom on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024 at 7:00 PM EST and will be recorded and posted on the Photo Art Pavilion YouTube Channel.

Awards include First Place ($150), Second Place ($125), Third Place ($100), and Honorable Mention ($35). All artists will be notified by email by April 26th, 2024. The open call is available to artists aged 18 and older. By submitting, artists grant Photo Art Pavilion the right to display selected images on their website and social media platforms with proper artist credit.
