About This Call
The Hinsdale Chamber of Commerce presents the 53rd Annual Hinsdale Fine Arts Festival, heralded as one of the top shows in western suburbs of Chicago and recipient of West Suburban Living's "Best Summer Art Show" for 2012-2022. The festival takes place Saturday & Sunday, June 6 & 7, 2026, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., in Burlington Park, 30 E Chicago Avenue, Hinsdale, Illinois. Located in the heart of historic downtown Hinsdale and set amongst the shady trees of Burlington Park, the show hosts over 80 qualified, juried artists. Adjacent to Hinsdale's upscale shopping district, the I-294 expressway and the Burlington Northern rail system, this show is easily accessible for all who want to attend.
Accepted mediums include painting (watercolors, oils, acrylics, pastel, and charcoal/pencil), sculpture (glass, wood, metal and mixed), jewelry, photography, fiber arts, mixed media (graphics, handmade paper, embossing, collage, and print-making), and ceramics. Artists must be 18 years of age and over, supply their own 10' x10' canopy and display equipment, and be present for the duration of the show. Original artwork only will be on display, with prints and reproductions available in bins only. Artists must represent their own work and sales agents are not permitted.
Awards include Best of Show/Jim Cizek Memorial Award ($250), Presidents Award for Best New Show Participant ($200), and First, Second, Third Place awards in 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional Art ($150, $125, $100 respectively). All award winners are automatically invited back to the 2027 show. Application fee is $35 (non-refundable) and booth fee is $375 (non-refundable). Artists will be notified by April 3, 2026 if their application has been approved. Amenities include complimentary continental breakfast, water, booth sitters, and overnight security.
