About This Call

The Highlands Art Festival is presented on the grounds of The Highlands Masonic Lodge in Denver's Highlands neighborhood. The event accepts all forms of original fine art and fine crafts, including painting, sculpture, metal, glass, printmaking/drawing, ceramics, mixed media, jewelry, wood, fiber, and photography.

Artists must be present to exhibit and may only display their own original work. A Picture ID is required at check-in. All spaces are approximately 10 x 10 feet and located outside on grass with no inside or covered spaces available. Booth options include single 10 x 10 spaces ($495), single 10 x 10 with corner ($595), double 10 x 20 spaces ($945-$1,175 depending on corner configuration). Electricity is not widely available but may be available upon inquiry. Only white tents are allowed.

Application fee is $45 per juried category (non-refundable). Applicants must submit 4 digital images of their work and 1 image of their booth display. If applying in multiple categories, a separate $45 application fee and 4 images per category are required. Jury consists of 3 jurors scoring applications on a 1-10 scale. Approximately 150 applications are received annually with approximately 100 artists selected. Booth fees are due upon acceptance. Cancellations submitted 60 or more days prior to the event will receive a non-transferable show credit valid for two years. Cancellations within 60 days of the event result in forfeiture of all fees. No refunds are issued after booth fees are paid.
