About This Call
Hidden Wilds invites artists to explore the mysterious world of cryptids, from Bigfoot to Mothman, lake monsters to shadowy beings whispered about in old campfire tales. Memento Mori Gallery & Tattoo, a lowbrow/outsider contemporary art gallery located in the 40West Arts District in Lakewood, Colorado, welcomes the outsider, the lowbrow, and the macabre.
The gallery accepts 2D and 3D artwork. Entry fee is $25 per piece, with artists able to submit up to 2 pieces. Artwork must be for sale, with 40% of sale proceeds going to the gallery. All pieces must be ready to hang or display physically (digital artwork will not be displayed unless printed and framed/mounted properly). "Ready to Hang" means hanging hardware is already attached; plain canvas without hanging wire is not acceptable. Hanging wire is preferred; no adhesive mounts. Photographic work depicting another artist's artwork will not be accepted without express permission from the artist. Out-of-state artists are responsible for shipping costs to and from the gallery.
