Hey Diddle Diddle / Artist Interpretation of Nursery Rhymes and Fairy Tales

Niza Knoll Gallery in Denver, Colorado invites artists to submit work interpreting nursery rhymes or fairy tales for this juried exhibition. This is the second exhibition of Hey Diddle Diddle. The exhibition opens June 15, 2018 and runs through July 28, 2018 in Denver's Art District on Santa Fe. Submissions will be juried by blind-jury method. Awards will be given to Best of Show, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Artwork may be 2-D or 3-D. 2-D work must be no smaller than 10 x 10 inches and no larger than 14 x 14 inches, on canvas or board with finished edges and ready to hang. No frames. 3-D pedestal art must not exceed 12"w x 12"d x 24"h and must weigh less than 25 pounds. All artwork must have been completed in the past three years and must arrive exhibition ready with wire for hanging. Art previously shown in the gallery will not be accepted. All work must remain for the duration of the exhibit. Accepted artists must provide a one paragraph statement about their work for marketing purposes.

Entry fee is $40.00 for 1 to 3 entries. Submit 1 to 3 images. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs, including return shipping with pre-paid labels. Niza Knoll Gallery is not responsible for damage or loss during transport; artists should insure work while in transport. The gallery provides liability insurance for artworks while on premises. All work must be available for sale during the exhibition. Niza Knoll Gallery retains a 40% commission on all art sales. Prices and sizes may not be changed after submission. Payment for sold artwork will be issued within 45 days after the close of the exhibition. Jurying complete by 6/1, acceptance letters by 6/2. Shipped art must be received no later than 6/13, or hand deliver to gallery on 6/13 between 12-2:00pm. Artists reception is 6/15 from 5-8pm. Pick up art 7/28 from 3-5pm.
