Heroes Homecoming 2022

Heroes Homecoming 2022 is an exhibition at The Arts Council of Fayetteville | Cumberland County (301 Hay St., Fayetteville, NC 28301) running November 9-26, 2022. The exhibition welcomes submissions from any veteran who has ever called Fort Bragg or the Fayetteville area home. All mediums are welcome, including photography, paintings, mixed/multi-media work, sculptures, ceramics, and textiles. Selected works will be displayed in the main gallery. Artists are encouraged to include the year(s) they called the Fort Bragg/Fayetteville area home with their submission.

Submission deadline is September 30, 2022. Selected artists will be notified by October 7, 2022 via email. Artwork should be shipped or delivered between October 8 and November 4, 2022. The opening reception is November 9, 2022. Artwork pickup/shipping dates are November 28 - December 2, 2022.

Hanging works must be appropriately framed with a wire hanger for the Walker Hanging System used by the Arts Council. All 3D works will be displayed on pedestals. Artists retain copyright to their work but authorize the Arts Council to use photos for promotional purposes. Artists are responsible for all shipping and material costs and must provide a return shipping label or FedEx/UPS account number. The Arts Council retains a 30% commission for all sales. Work received after November 4, 2022 will not be installed, and artists will be responsible for return shipping costs.
