About This Call
Heritage Days is a five-day end of summer block party featuring a carnival, live music, live art, vendors, and classic car show. The event runs Wednesday, July 12 through Sunday, July 16. The Saturday and Sunday vendor village includes a street closure and classic car show. Heritage Days 2022 brought over 35,000 visitors to Old Town Camarillo.
The event features over 100 artists, art studios, and art organizations across 10 acres. Attendees can enjoy live music, food trucks, entertainment, wine and beer gardens with premium local wines and microbrews. Vendor spaces are available Saturday and Sunday only, with setup between 6am-8am and public hours from 10am-10pm Saturday and 10am-8pm Sunday. Booth pricing is $375 for Saturday and Sunday without electrical connection, or $475 with electrical connection. All vendor booths are 10 feet by 10 feet with no water supplied. Overnight security is provided Saturday to Sunday.
Vendors must provide their own tables, chairs, display stands, and point of sale system. Generators must be quiet. Vehicles must be unhitched and parked elsewhere once the event starts. This is a waste-free event; all food containers must be certified compostable, recyclable, or reusable. The organization is especially interested in artist demonstrations, live painting, performance-based work, and artist talks and presentations. Applicants should submit at least three images of their work and one image of their display if applicable. The $25 entry fee will be deducted from the booth fee invoice once placement is confirmed. Booth fees are non-refundable. Eligibility is open to all makers and crafts people who create original work in any medium. For proposals or to discuss this opportunity, email [email protected].
