About This Call
The Hendersonville Arts Festival, presented by Good Neighbor Festivals and the Hendersonville Arts Council, takes place Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Sanders Ferry Park in Hendersonville, Tennessee. The festival is open to the public from 10 am-5 pm on Saturday and 11 am-5 pm on Sunday, with artist setup on Friday afternoon. The event features local live music, a food truck court, and kids/family activities. Sanders Ferry Park is located next to Old Hickory Lake. The festival provides artist hospitality including snacks, breakfast, and coffee/tea/drinks each day.
Eligible media includes 2D arts and crafts (digital art, photography, drawing, mixed media, painting, printmaking, works on paper) and 3D art and crafts (ceramics, wood, fiber/textiles, wearables, furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, sculpture, mixed media). Artwork must be original and produced by the exhibiting artist; no commercial reproductions or embellished commercial products are allowed. Artists must disclose edition numbers if producing work in editions. All displayed work must be for sale or commission with clearly marked prices. All artists must be in attendance presenting their work; no sales representatives are allowed. Tents must be white and properly weighted. No prerecorded or amplified music is permitted in booth spaces. Generators, if essential, must be battery-operated, quiet, and non-fume producing, and their use must be disclosed on the application. Upon acceptance, artists must provide a certificate of insurance listing Good Neighbor Festivals and the City of Hendersonville as additionally insured.
Booth fees are due upon acceptance: 10' x 10' space ($310), 15' x 15' space ($475), 10' x 20' space ($845), with a $70 corner fee and $150 power add-on fee available. All booths are located on pavement and grass and must be properly weighted. Artists must provide their own display booth, racks, and/or tables. The festival averages 100 applications annually and selects approximately 70 artists through jury selection based on computer monitor review of submitted images.
