Heaven & Hell

Heaven & Hell is an open exhibition for all artists and media held at the Old Courthouse Arts Center in Woodstock, IL (located northwest of Chicago). Works previously shown at the Old Courthouse Arts Center are not eligible for entry, including any works previously accepted for Real People or Women's Works.

Artists 18 years and older may submit up to 5 recently completed original pieces. Each piece should be represented by only one image; do not submit detail images or multiple angles as separate submissions. Artwork made up of multiple pieces (diptychs, triptychs, etc.) should also be represented by only one image. Gallery size limitation is 6 feet in any single dimension and 60 lbs (including packaging). All work must be for sale with a 30% sales commission on sold pieces. The entry fee is $30.00 for up to five images.

Cash awards will be made for First Place and Honorable Mention. Additionally, Biafarin has donated 3 one-year memberships (worth more than $1500) as awards. The exhibition runs August 6-29, 2020, with a Gala Reception on Saturday, August 8, 6-9pm CDT. Jury notifications will be emailed by June 13. Accepted artwork must be at the gallery by July 26.
