Heart of Gilroy Festival Fine Artist Call

The Downtown Gilroy Business Association (GDBA) is organizing the Heart of Gilroy Festival on Saturday, April 20th, and Sunday, April 21st, in Downtown Gilroy. Formerly known as the Wine & Art Walk, this two-day festival aims to unite the community and promote the downtown area. The festival features fine artists, artisan vendors, food vendors, live music, wine tastings, and beer tastings.

Fine Artist booths will be located along Monterey Highway from 6th through 4th Street. Artist vendor display hours are 10:00 am – 6:00 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Vendors will remain set up from Friday night through Sunday evening in parking spaces along Monterey Street and side streets. Saturday features a traditional wine walk at 30 pouring stations from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Sunday features beer tastings booths from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Streets will be closed from 8:00 am until evening both days. A reception for all artists will be held Friday before the event during the Third Friday Art Walk in downtown from 5-8pm.

Entry deadline is March 4, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Entry fee is $25.00 ($15.00 for local artists). Work sample requirements: 5-10 images and 0-2 videos (5-12 total samples). Local artist booth fee is $100; out-of-region artist booth fee is $200. Fine artists are juried. Any artist is eligible to participate. Contact: [email protected].
