About This Call
The Hazel Park Art Fair, held annually at Green Acres Park, is a community celebration that brings together artists and art enthusiasts for a weekend of creativity. Organized by the Hazel Park Arts Council, this event offers local artists a chance to showcase their work, engage with the community, and share their artistic passion. The fair takes place August 23rd (11 am - 7 pm) and 24th (11 am - 5 pm) at Green Acres Park, located behind the Community Center at 620 W Woodward Heights, Hazel Park, MI 48030.
Set in a beautiful outdoor venue, the fair features a variety of art forms, including paintings, photography, jewelry, and crafts. Artists can display and sell their original works, offer live demonstrations, and interact with visitors. The event also includes food vendors, a charity craft beer tent, circus performers, and live demonstrations, making it a family-friendly celebration of creativity. Works must be original and crafted by the artist, though reproductions by the artist are accepted. AI-generated work and mass-produced items are not accepted.
Booth options include tented spaces ($100 for 10' x 10', $200 for 10' x 20') on grass along a concrete path, or pavilion spaces ($100 for 10' x 10', $200 for 10' x 20') on concrete slabs. Artists must provide their own tent, tables, display equipment, and tent weights. The application requires 4 images and a booth shot. This is a rain-or-shine event with setup from 7 am - 10:30 am Saturday morning. Cancellations received by 5:00 pm on August 1, 2025 will receive a full booth fee refund.
