Hawaii Photography Exhibition 2017: Isolation

Hawaii Photography Exhibition 2017: Isolation is a photography exhibition held at East Hawaii Cultural Center from June 3-29, 2017. The exhibition is juried by celebrated photographer Linda Connor, who has been teaching in the Photography Department at the San Francisco Art Institute since the late 1960s. Connor founded PhotoAlliance, a Bay Area non-profit dedicated to contemporary photography, and has had a distinguished career including National Endowment for the Arts grants and a Guggenheim Fellowship. Her work has been extensively published and exhibited internationally, with a traveling retrospective that appeared at the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago.

Artists may submit 1-4 images. Entry fees are $40 for general submissions or $27 for EHCC members. Selected artists are responsible for shipping costs and transit insurance to and from the venue. Works should arrive by May 20, 2017, ready to install or requiring simple installation behind glass. All accepted work will remain on display for the duration of the exhibition. Works will be returned or available for pickup on July 1, 2017, with shipped works sent on July 6, 2017. All sales are shared 50/50 between EHCC and the artist. Eligibility is limited to local artists in Hawaii.
