About This Call
A group exhibition on the theme of Happiness, open to all visual artists worldwide. Artists are invited to submit original artworks interpreting "Happiness" in any media, including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, digital art, sculpture, metalsmithing, installation, crafts, jewelry, glass art, book art, fiber art, textile arts, design, and mixed media. Both abstract and representational styles are welcome. There is no size limit or restriction on artwork creation year, though artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred.
Submission is free. If selected, a USD 35 selection fee applies. Artists may submit up to 5 original artworks, with a maximum of 2 artworks selected per artist. Work samples must include 1-5 images. Selected artworks will be showcased in an online exhibition from January 30 to March 3, 2023. Artworks must be entirely the work of the entrant and original; entries must not be copies or derivatives of other copyrighted work. Artists must have all rights for presenting and publishing artworks internationally. Artwork photos should show only the artwork with no frames or extraneous backgrounds.
Awards for selected artists include showcase in the group exhibition, publication in an international art catalogue, online promotion to sell artworks, public choice cash prizes of USD 100 each for 3 artists with highest artwork ranks, digital exhibition poster and promotional badges, artwork reviews from visitors, exhibition analytics and sales reports, potential publication in magazines and books, a free online artist profile page, and a digital certificate. The exhibition has been visited by 4,000,000+ visitors from 120+ countries.
