Handmade in Colorado Expo 2025

The 18th annual Handmade in Colorado Expo is a juried event showcasing some of Colorado's best fine art and contemporary craft. This is the only art and craft festival in the State that is exclusive to Colorado artisans and designers. The event takes place on August 22-24 in Estes Park, September 15-16 in Downtown Denver, September 27-28 in Downtown Glenwood Springs, and October 3-4 in the Vail Village. Artists can participate in any combination of event dates from 1 day to all 9 event dates.

The festival features a vast array of independent designers producing original handcrafted goods from metals, paper, glass, fibers, food, fabricated objects, clay, paint, wax, gems, and more. All work sold will be created by both emerging and experienced artisans from Colorado. The event has free admission and features live music by Colorado bands and musicians. This is part of the top tier Signature Events series with enhanced advertising and marketing campaigns.

All participants must make their own merchandise and reside in the State of Colorado. The event is open to all mediums of art, craft, and food items, with all work being of original design and handmade. Participants are chosen by a jury that views five images, a product description and artist statement. The jury is composed of Colorado artists representing various media and uses a rolling jury process that meets twice monthly. Artists may apply in more than one category but must submit separate applications for each medium. Application fee is free and 5 images are required including a booth shot.
