Halloween Exhibition - Nightmare on Art Street

KBM Art Gallery invites artists worldwide to submit Halloween-themed artwork for an open-call juried exhibition. All artists will have at least one piece accepted if it meets submission requirements. The exhibition will be live online from Saturday, October 7th through Friday, November 17th.

Artwork themes should encompass all things Halloween: nightmarish, creepy, spooky, macabre, dark, and morbid imagery such as cemeteries, pumpkins, black cats, full moons, witches, vampires, ghosts, and Trick-or-Treaters. Artworks can be any medium, style, from any year, and any size. The title "Nightmare on Art Street" is a tongue-in-cheek reference and does not need to be incorporated into your work. Jury prizes will be awarded to the top 3 artworks: 1st place $100 Visa Gift Card, 2nd place $50 Visa Gift Card, 3rd place $25 Visa Gift Card. Multiple prizes can be awarded to a single artist.

Submitting artists can opt to have their work also considered for The Hummingbird & Dragonfly Art Gallery (opening October 13th through November 17th) at no additional fee. All accepted artists receive at least one dedicated social media post promoting the exhibition. Artists retain 100% of profits from artwork sales and maintain ownership rights. KBM Art Gallery is online only, so no shipping is required. Entry fee is $30 plus $2 media fee and is non-refundable. Submit 1-20 JPEG images of original artwork. Artists must be 18 or older. Artwork must not contain nudity, racist, offensive, harassing, or erotic themes, and should not be crafts such as jewelry, mugs, or planters. For 2D works, crop images to artwork only with no background, frame, or shadows. For 3D works, use white background with proper lighting and center composition.
