About This Call
The 64th Annual Halifax Art Festival, stewarded by the Riverfront Arts District, is one of Florida's longest-running juried art festivals and the second-oldest continually operating art festival in the state. Held in the historic downtown waterfront district of Daytona Beach along Beach Street overlooking the Halifax River, the Festival attracts over 35,000 art lovers annually. This two-day outdoor event features the juried work of 200+ artists, with approximately 150 Fine Art spaces competing for cash awards.
Artists are selected through a jury panel scoring process and exhibit in 12' × 12' booth spaces in a walkable, high-traffic riverfront setting surrounded by shops, cafés, and restaurants. The event includes international street cuisine and live entertainment. Two exhibitor sections are available: Competitive Fine Artists (153 spaces on Beach Street, eligible for cash awards) and Noncompetitive Artists and Craft Artisans (approximately 60 spaces). Accepted media include Clay/Ceramics, Digital, Glass, Jewelry, Metal, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Printmaking/Drawing, Sculpture, Textiles, Upcycled Arts, and Wood.
Artist amenities include patron and fine art cash awards, discounted hotel accommodations, Friday registration and setup, Saturday morning setup availability, booth sitting both days, morning coffee and bakery goods, complimentary parking with overnight options, and festival security. Best of Show award is $5,000. The jury fee is $40 (non-refundable), with booth spaces at $350 for Competitive Fine Art or $225 for Noncompetitive/Craft. Applications require 4 images (3 of recent artwork and 1 booth display image). The Jury Panel convenes July 1-5, with artist notifications beginning two days after. All payments are due by July 22nd. The festival takes place November 7-8, 2026. Applications may be submitted via Zapplication or emailed to [email protected].
