About This Call
The Guild of the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach, Florida welcomes artist applications to the 2025 Halifax Art Festival! The 63rd Halifax Art Festival located in the historic downtown waterfront area of Daytona Beach is the 2nd oldest continual art festival in the state of Florida. The Festival attracts over 35,000 art lovers annually, continuing its tradition of providing the community a showcase for Fine Arts, Fine Crafts, Crafts, and Student Art. The two-day festival features the juried works of 200+ artists, with approximately 150 spaces reserved for Fine Artists competing for cash awards.
The festival offers two exhibitor sections: Competitive Fine Artists (153 spaces on Beach Street asphalt surface, eligible for cash awards) and Noncompetitive Artists and Craft Artisans (approximately 60 spaces, not eligible for cash awards). Best of Show will be awarded $5000. Accepted media includes Clay/Ceramics, Digital, Glass, Jewelry, Metal, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Printmaking/Drawing, Sculpture, Textiles, Upcycled Arts, and Wood. Booth size is 12 x 12 with 2 foot separation between spaces.
Application requires 4 images (3 recent artwork images and 1 booth display image) and fees include $40 jury fee (non-refundable) plus $350 for competitive fine art booth space or $225 for noncompetitive booth space. Applications are due June 30th, 2025, with jury panel selection July 1-5 and artist notifications beginning July 7th. The festival takes place November 1st and 2nd, 2025, with extensive multi-media marketing campaign and amenities including discounted hotel accommodations, booth sitting, morning coffee, complimentary parking, and festival security.
