H2O: The Water Show

ACE Gallery is hosting a juried exhibition titled "H2O: The Water Show" celebrating the gallery's reopening following water damage. The exhibition honors the gallery's resilience while exploring the diverse and vital role water plays in our lives and ecosystems. Artists from all mediums—painting, sculpture, and photography—are invited to explore the theme of water in its myriad forms, from the calming flow of a river to the destructive force of a flood, the beauty of ocean waves, or intimate moments of daily life involving water. The exhibition seeks works that provoke thought, ignite conversations, and spark emotions around water's vital essence, celebrating its life-giving properties while acknowledging its potential for destruction. The exhibition will be juried by members of the Studio ACE Artist Council.

ACE Gallery welcomes submissions of artworks of any medium. Artworks must measure no more than 20 inches in any direction, not including frame, with frames limited to an additional 2 inches in width. Acceptable media include paintings, drawings, limited edition prints, photography, and small sculpture work that must fit on a pedestal with dimensions no more than 14 inches wide, 14 inches deep, and 20 inches high. Artwork requiring electrical connections cannot be accommodated. Entry fees are $25 for the first 3 submissions, with additional submissions at $10 per image. Artists may submit between 3 and 20 images. Work must be original, for sale, and ready to install.

Submission deadline is February 17, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Accepted artists will be notified by email on February 21, 2025. In-person artwork drop-off is available March 14-15, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Shipped artwork must arrive by 4:00 p.m. on March 14, 2025 and must include a prepaid return shipping label. The exhibition runs March 17 through April 18, 2025, with an opening reception on March 22, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Artwork pickup is April 19, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A $10 per day late pickup fee applies unless other arrangements are made.
