H Gallery + Studios Winter 2021 Exhibition Consideration

H Gallery + Studios is a 10,000 square foot vintage 1930s building located in Ventura, California, dedicated to creatives and art entrepreneurs. It includes a 2,000 square foot gallery, a 2,700 cubic foot suspended installation area, and 20 work studios. H Gallery is a satellite gallery of Dab Art Co., exclusively curated by Dab Art Co. curators.

This call seeks submissions for group exhibitions curated by Zära Monet Feeney, a curator, exhibiting artist, and university professor at California State University, Northridge. Accepted artwork includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. All work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own the sole copyright. Exhibition lengths vary from 4 to 10 weeks. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to attend receptions, and a selected few may be invited for recorded artist interviews or panel discussions.

Submissions must include at least 3 images, a biography and/or artist statement, artist website link, and links to at least 1 social media platform. Entry fee is $35 for 3 images; additional images cost $5 each (maximum 20 images). An optional consultation with the gallery curator is available for $50. Entries submitted by 12/31/2020 are considered for Winter 2021 exhibition. Entries are reviewed weekly and early considerations are made prior to the final deadline. Notifications are sent via email within 2 weeks after the close of each calendar month. Gallery retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales. Payment to artists is provided within 60 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from the buyer. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance of artworks. All shipments must include a prepaid UPS or FedEx return label and be shipped in a reusable container. No packing peanuts are permitted.
