H Gallery + Studios | 2021 Summer Gallery Exhibitions

H Gallery + Studios is a 10,000 square foot vintage 1930s building located in Ventura, California, dedicated to creatives and art entrepreneurs. The space includes a 2,000 square foot gallery, a 2,700 cubic foot suspended installation area, and 20 work studios. Founded in 2011 by Dab Art Co. founder Yessíca Torres and designer Rodrigo Aguilar, H Gallery is exclusively curated by Dab Art Co. curator Zära Monet Feeney and focuses on mid-career to established artists.

This call seeks submissions for group exhibitions with lengths varying from 4 to 10 weeks. Accepted artwork includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. All work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own sole copyright. 2D artwork must be ready to hang with professional quality frames, mats, and wiring. Submissions should include at least 3 images (up to 20), a biography and/or artist statement, artist website link, and links to at least one social media platform. Early applications are encouraged as entries are reviewed weekly.

Entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with additional images at $5 each (maximum 20 images). An optional consultation with the gallery director is available for $100. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. The gallery retains a 50% commission on all sales. Payment to artists is provided within 60 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from the buyer.
