H Gallery Spring 2020 Exhibition Consideration

H Gallery + Studios, located in Ventura, California, is accepting submissions for group exhibitions. The gallery is a 10,000 square foot vintage 1930s building dedicated to creatives and art entrepreneurs, featuring a 2,000 square foot gallery, a 2,700 cubic foot suspended installation area, and 20 work studios. H Gallery is a satellite gallery of Dab Art Co., exclusively curated by Uta Culeman-Ritke.

Submissions will be reviewed by the H Gallery curator for group exhibitions. A comprehensive submission must include at least 3 images, a biography and/or artist statement, artist website link, and links to at least 1 social media platform. Accepted artwork includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. All work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own the sole copyright. 2D artwork selected for exhibition must be ready to hang with professional quality frames, mats, and wiring. Exhibition lengths vary from 4 to 10 weeks. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to attend receptions, and a selected few may be invited for recorded artist interviews or panel discussions.

Entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with additional images at $5 each (maximum 20 images). Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. All shipments must include a prepaid UPS or FedEx return label in a reusable container. No packing peanuts are permitted. The gallery retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales in gallery and online. Selected artwork will be listed on Dab Art Co.'s sales platform, Artsy. Payment to artists is provided within 60 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from the buyer. Entries are reviewed weekly, and early applications are encouraged.
