About This Call
Friends of the Guelph Public Library, in collaboration with Guelph Public Library and with City of Guelph administrative support, seeks an original contemporary public artwork for the Children's Area of Guelph's new Central Library. This light-filled, modular space serves children aged 0–12 and caregivers through storytelling, reading, play, gathering and discovery. The artwork should be imaginative and joyful, spark curiosity and creative play, enable accessible and inclusive engagement, inspire repeat visits, and create a strong visual identity visible from the street.
