About This Call
Growth – Stories in Bloom is a women's exhibition at the Josephy Center for Arts and Culture running February 27 – April 4, 2026. The exhibition is open to all women artists working in any 2D or 3D medium. Entry fee is $20 per artist; youth 17 and under enter free.
Artists may submit up to three works. All mediums are accepted (2D and 3D), except AI-generated artwork. Artwork previously exhibited at the Josephy Center is not eligible. Maximum framed size is 48 inches on the longest side. Sculpture submissions are limited to 30 inches high and 40 lbs maximum. All works must be professionally presented and wired for hanging or properly mounted for safe gallery display. Unframed canvas is acceptable if 1.5 inches deep with painted or professional edges.
Artwork must arrive before February 23rd and remain for the full exhibition period. Artists must include a prepaid return shipping label and use reusable shipping boxes designed for art, labeled with last name on the narrow edge. Image submissions must be original, high-quality JPEG files at least 1800 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to show only the artwork with no visible matting, frames, or background. Ensure images are oriented correctly and use sRGB color profile for best results. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be submitted by the deadline of January 12, 2026. For questions, contact [email protected].
