About This Call
South Haven Center for the Arts invites group exhibition proposals. Applicants may submit up to 3 proposals, each with a $30 entry fee.
Proposals must include: artists' bios and brief resumes, a one-page curatorial statement supporting the proposed exhibition, history of the group if applicable, and ten images (at least one image by each artist, or a representative sample if the group exceeds 10 artists). Work in production may be represented by similar sample images. Proposals must also include educational information about the work (process and product) in approximately 50-100 words, along with ideas for talks, workshops, or other community engagement activities the artists would be interested in providing.
Work must have been completed within three years of the exhibition date. Work previously shown at SHCA is not eligible. Exhibition dates are January 1, 2021 through November 30, 2022. For questions, contact the Exhibition Committee at [email protected].
