Grin Cupola 2023 Exhibitions

Grin Cupola is an art gallery and gathering site in Grinnell, Iowa, exhibiting one web/virtual exhibition and/or one on-site physical exhibition per year. The organization is seeking applications for its 2023 Web/Virtual exhibitions, consisting of three to five artists. Selected works will be on view at www.grincupola.com for one year and will also be displayed in the physical space via projections and curated screens. Applications will also be considered for a 2024 on-site physical exhibition.

On-site physical exhibitions take place in a renovated 1938 corn crib with 1,600 square feet of assorted space across three stories. The first floor includes a lounge, cafe, and offices. The second floor houses the main exhibition space, auxiliary installation space, and screening room. The third floor features a cupola outlook with 180-degree south-facing windows overlooking farmlands and the town of Grinnell. On-site exhibitions are available for viewing by appointment from July through December and offer free admission.

Exhibition dates run from July 1, 2023 to July 1, 2024. Entry fee is $12.00 for 3 images, with $3 for each additional image up to a maximum of 10 images per artist. All mediums and all artists/makers are eligible to apply.
