About This Call

The Griffin Museum of Photography invites active member photographers working in all mediums, styles and schools of thought to participate in the 27th Annual Juried Members' Exhibition. Experimental and mixed techniques are welcome. There is no theme.

The exhibition takes place in the Main Gallery in Winchester, Massachusetts from July 15 – August 29, 2021. The Artist Reception will take place online on July 15, 2021 at 7 PM. Approximately 60 photographs will be featured. Atlanta gallerist Arnika Dawkins serves as the juror. Eligibility is open to all active members of the Griffin Museum of Photography with membership expiring no earlier than April 30, 2021. Members at the dual/family level ($75) or above may submit 8 images; other members may submit 5 images. All images must be uploaded as JPEG files, no more than 5MB, in Adobe RGB (1998) or sRGB color space only. Files should be titled as LastName_FirstName_Title_ImageNumber. All identifying marks including watermarks must be removed. Jurying is anonymous.

Entry fees: $25 (Early Bird, February 8 – March 7, 2021) or $35 (Standard, March 8 – March 21, 2021). Submissions deadline is March 21, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Awards include: $1,000 Arthur Griffin Legacy Award, $500 Griffin Award, $100 Honorable Mentions (10), 4 exhibitions in June and July 2022, 1 Director's Prize with catalog, Member in Focus recognition, and 1 Griffin Contemporary Collection Purchase Prize. A catalog of the exhibition will be produced. An online exhibition featuring non-selected photographs will be highlighted on the museum's website and Instagram. Programming includes professional development workshops, artist panels featuring awardees (July 22, August 5, August 19 at 7 PM EST), and portfolio reviews with the juror.
