Greenwich Village Art Fair 2026

The 78th Greenwich Village Art Fair is a two-day outdoor event held September 19-20, 2026 at Riverfront Museum Park in Rockford, Illinois. The fair features up to 155 juried artists, live music by local musicians, children's art activities, a local marketplace, food and drink. Established in 1948, GVAF is the longest-running art fair of its kind in the Midwest. Admission proceeds support Rockford Art Museum, located at 711 North Main Street in downtown Rockford.

Artists may apply in the following mediums: Ceramics, Drawing/Works on Paper, Fiber, Furniture, Leather, Glass, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Painting, Paper, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, and Wood. All work must be original and created by the exhibiting artist. No reproductions, mass-produced work, or items made from commercial kits or molds are permitted. Artists may apply in more than one category with separate applications and images required for each medium.

Applications are due June 15, 2026 by midnight CDT. The jury application fee is $30. Applicants must submit five images: four showing current work in their applied medium and one showing a typical booth setup. Images must show work less than 2 years old. Accepted artists will be notified June 22, 2026. The booth fee is due by August 10, 2026. Artists may cancel participation by August 23, 2026 and receive a refund of the booth fee minus a $50 processing fee. Awards include Best of Show, Nancy Sauer Award, Judges Choice, and Honorable Mention, with award checks distributed on Sunday of the fair.
