Greenwich Village Art Fair 2025

The 77th Greenwich Village Art Fair is a two-day outdoor event at Rockford Art Museum that features up to 155 juried artists, live music by local musicians, children's art activities, a local marketplace, food and drink, and much more. Established in 1948, GVAF is the longest-running art fair of its kind in the Midwest. All artwork on display must be original and produced entirely by the hands of the exhibiting artist: no reproductions or mass-produced work. The event takes place on September 13-14, 2025 (Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 10am-5pm) in Rockford, Illinois on smooth, level pavement at Riverfront Museum Park on the west bank of the Rock River.

The fair accepts applications in multiple medium categories including ceramics, drawing/works on paper, fiber, furniture, leather, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, paper, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and wood. Artists may apply in more than one category but must submit separate applications for each medium. Applications require 5 digital images (4 showing current work less than 2 years old, 1 booth shot) and a $30 non-refundable application fee. The application deadline is June 29, 2025 at midnight CDT, with notification on July 3, 2025.

Awards are presented for Best of Show, Judges Choice, and Honorable Mention, with award winners notified on Saturday afternoon of the fair. Accepted artists must commit to exhibit and remit booth fees by August 3, 2025. Admission proceeds support Rockford Art Museum's educational programs.
