Green Verde Vert

Green•Verde•Vert is a national juried competition sponsored by the Woman's Caucus for Art, Colorado. The exhibition will be held at the Annex@Core Gallery in Denver, Colorado from October 25 to November 11, 2018.

The theme of Green•Verde•Vert can be interpreted in many ways: the verdant green of nature, the abstract beauty of rich green hues, the lush green of a still life, the new green of spring and youth, the spiritual green associated with resurrection and regeneration, the ecological green of climate change, the political green of a "green card," or the concepts of green embodied in greed, money and envy. Artists are encouraged to express their own personal concept of "green" in their chosen media. All mediums are welcome except video and performance. 2D work framed size limit is 24" wide x 45" tall; sculpture limit is 24" x 45" x 24" (deep). Open to all USA artists over 18.

Entry fee is $35.00 for up to 3 works. Submit 1-3 images. Accepted artists will be notified the week of September 24 and must provide a high resolution photo of accepted works for the show catalog. Artist statements will be published in the catalog and used as part of the jurying process. Shipping requirements will be sent to accepted artists. Juror is Molly Casey, Studio Chief at NINE dot ARTS. Cash awards will be given for Best of Show and three Juror's Choice Awards. Catalogs are available for purchase and presented to award winners.
