About This Call
Webster Arts invites art submissions for an all-media exhibition titled Green. Artists are encouraged to submit work that represents the color, or explores themes of environment, recycling, money, and envy. All 2D and 3D media is welcome. No floor or ceiling hung installations or video are permitted.
Exhibition dates are September 13-October 31, 2018. The juror is Jan Nesser-Chu, Academic Dean of Arts & Sciences at St. Louis Community College-Florissant Valley. Juror will select work for inclusion in the exhibit and for cash prizes. Artists may be selected for solo or 2-3 person shows in the future.
Eligibility: Open to artists age 18 and older, residing in the US or abroad. Entry fee is $30 for up to three entries (non-refundable). Submit up to three JPEG digital images (no larger than 1920 pixels on the longest side, 72 ppi/dpi resolution, 5 MB maximum file size). Wall pieces must be wired for hanging and no larger than 48" x 48". Free-standing pieces may not exceed 32" x 32" x 60" or weigh more than 50 lbs. All work must be original and not previously exhibited at Webster Arts. Photographs printed on canvas are not allowed without prior permission. Artwork delivery: August 30-September 6 for in-person delivery, or shipped by September 6, 2018. Artists are responsible for shipping costs and must include return postage. Artwork will be insured for declared value from receipt through pickup. Webster Arts receives 30% commission on sales.
