Green

Green is a juried exhibition at Site:Brooklyn Gallery in Brooklyn, New York, running December 13, 2019 through January 11, 2020. The exhibition seeks work across all mediums that engages with green—a complex color associated with life, luck, hope, disorder, and greed. The exhibition is open to artists 18 years of age or older working in drawing, painting, printmaking, wall-mounted sculpture, collage, and video. The juror is Eva Díaz, Associate Professor of Contemporary Art History at Pratt.

Submission deadline is October 22, 2019 at 11:59 PM MT. Entry fee is $35.00 for up to three images, with a $10 media fee for each additional image (up to 12 images total). Video submissions are also accepted (up to 3 videos). Only original works may be submitted. All entry fees are non-refundable. Notification of acceptance will be sent November 1, 2019. The opening reception is Friday, December 13, 2019 from 6-9 PM.

Accepted artwork must be suitably framed to professional standards (using Plexiglas except for hand-delivered work under 24" x 30"). Maximum size is 72" x 60" x 12" D. All work must be wired or have cleat attachment and ready for hanging. A label must be affixed to the back indicating artist name, title, medium, dimensions, and price. All artwork must be priced for sale. Site:Brooklyn retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales. Artists are responsible for delivery and return shipping and must provide their own insurance.
