Dama Gallery, LLC, located in Ventura, California, is a contemporary art gallery dedicated to pushing the boundaries of artistic expression. Originally established in 2011, the gallery has expanded to include locations in Los Angeles, Mexico City, and Austin. The gallery focuses on mid-career and established artists and is one of the few established galleries that offer exhibition considerations to non-represented artists.

This open call invites submissions of original, unsold artwork in the following media: painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. Submissions must include a minimum of 3 images and a maximum of 20 images. The entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with an additional $5 per image for up to 20 total images. Exhibition lengths vary from 1 to 3 months depending on the artist's medium and the sizes and shapes of selected work. Entries are reviewed weekly with selections made throughout the month. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to attend receptions. A selected few may be invited for recorded artist interviews and/or panel discussions. Artists selected for exhibition will be considered for representation by Dama Gallery, which includes priority consideration for future exhibitions, professional consultation, portfolio assistance, and marketing support.

Dama Gallery retains a 50% commission on sales. The gallery has partnered with Artsy for online sales and visibility. Sales remittance to the artist occurs 5-7 business days post-exhibition and/or upon buyer payment finalization, whichever occurs first. All artwork must be original with the artist owning sole copyright. Frames, mats, and wiring must be professional quality and in good condition. 2D artwork selected for exhibition must be ready to hang. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance during shipping. No packing peanuts are permitted.
