Greater Los Angeles | Gallery Exhibition Consideration

H Gallery + Studios is a 10,000 square foot venue located in Ventura, California, featuring a 2,000 square foot gallery, a 2,700 cubic foot suspended installation area, and 20 work studios. Founded in 2011 by Yessíca Torres and Rodrigo Aguilar, H Gallery is now a satellite gallery of Dab Art Co., exclusively curated by Dab Art Co. curators. The gallery focuses on mid-career to established artists and is recognized as one of the prevailing contemporary art spaces in the greater Los Angeles area.

Submissions are reviewed by the H Gallery curator for group exhibitions. Accepted artwork includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. All work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own sole copyright. 2D artwork must be ready to hang with professional quality frames, mats, and wiring. Exhibition lengths vary from 4 to 10 weeks. Featured artists are invited to attend receptions, and a selected few may be invited for recorded artist interviews or panel discussions.

Entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with additional images at $5 each (maximum 20 images). An optional 15-minute phone or Zoom consultation with the curator is available for $50. Artists selected for exhibition will be listed on Dab Art Co.'s Artsy sales platform. The gallery retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales. Payment to artists is provided within 60 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from the buyer. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. All shipments must include a prepaid UPS or FedEx return label in a reusable container. Packing peanuts are not permitted. Notifications are sent via email, with early applications encouraged as exhibition considerations are made monthly.
