About This Call
Celebrating its 53rd year, the Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival is one of the best-regarded, most popular arts festivals in the United States. The three-day, juried art show draws more than 200 of the nation's best painters, potters, sculptors, jewelers, mixed media and other fine artists in the scenic beauty of historic Seville Square in Pensacola, FL. The festival values original work made from concept to creation by the artist's hands and is honored to consistently receive high marks from Sunshine Artist, being listed #18 in "The 100 Best Fine Art and Design Shows of 2024."
The festival awards 23 cash prizes totaling $26,000, with Best of Show receiving $5,000. Awards include five $1,400 Awards of Distinction, five $1,200 Awards of Excellence, five $800 Awards of Honor, five $600 Awards of Merit, and two $500 Judges' Awards. Awards are not given based on medium categories, and 2025 winners will be exempt from jurying for the 2026 show. Medium categories include ceramics, drawing, fiber/leather, glass, printmaking/graphics, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture, and wood.
Exhibitor spaces are 10' x 10' ($350), 10' x 15' ($525), or 10' x 20' ($700). Artists must submit 3 images of recent work and 1 booth image, be present throughout the festival, and display representative artwork in their accepted category. All works must be the artist's original design, and exhibiting artists are responsible for collecting Florida sales tax (7.5%) on all sales. The festival includes complimentary hospitality, an informal buffet with awards presentation, and volunteer booth sitting assistance.
