Grand Rapids Christkindl Markt 2025 - All Vendors

The Grand Rapids Christkindl Markt has established itself as West Michigan's must-visit holiday destination. Since opening in 2023, it has changed the landscape of local and regional family Christmas traditions. In 2025, the Christkindl Markt will be open for 26 days, taking place Wednesday, November 19 to Tuesday, December 23, 2025. The market features 60 wooden vendor stalls overflowing with handcrafted goods, festive decorations with tens of thousands of holiday lights, a 5,000 square foot glass-enclosed Bavarian style beverage hall, curling, warming areas, private Alpenglobe experiences, strolling holiday entertainment, children's activities, and visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Located adjacent to the Grand Rapids Downtown Market, the 2024 market hosted 235,000 visitors over 28 days, resulting in over $2,300,000 in vendor sales.

Vendor applications are accepted for products that are great holiday gifts, unique, high-quality, handmade/crafted, and traditional German/European items. The market is specifically looking for wood toys, glass ornaments, and European gifts like nutcrackers, smokers, and pyramids. Applications are no longer being accepted for food, jewelry, candles, skincare, ceramics/pottery, and textiles. Excluded vendors include direct sales and multi-level marketing, wholesale distributors, products using licensed imagery, alcoholic beverages, cottage food law items, products with hateful messages, and CBD/THC products.

Both full-time and pop-up vendor opportunities are available with various stall sizes and styles. Vendor amenities include power during event hours, space heaters, interior stall lighting, exterior signage, after-hours security, access to indoor restrooms, trash and recycling, snow removal, and exterior stall decor and lighting. The application fee is $15, with vendor stall request forms and pricing provided upon acceptance. The market has a $150,000 marketing and advertising budget and partnerships with tourism organizations for multi-state reach.
