About This Call
Grand Haven ArtWalk is an 11-day celebration of the arts held September 28 - October 8, 2017. Established in 2010, ArtWalk is an annual collaboration of artists, local businesses, and members of the lakeshore community. The event attracts hundreds of artists entering works in five categories: painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media.
Artwork is displayed throughout Grand Haven's Downtown, Centertown, Hilltop, and Waterfront neighborhoods in venues including retail stores, restaurants, art galleries, professional offices, a museum, the library, and city offices and parks. Thousands of attendees participate in a "people's choice" voting process. In addition to the public vote, juried winners are awarded in each category. Special events throughout the celebration highlight the artists, venues, and friends of ArtWalk.
Entry fee is $25.00. Artists may submit 1-2 images. Up to 5 applications are allowed per artist. The application deadline is September 1, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.
