About This Call
The Grand Haven Art Festival is a community event inviting nearly 85 artists from across the country to transform Washington Avenue into a chic, outdoor art gallery. Located inside the Grand Haven Social District, this well-attended event is ranked in the Top 200 Shows by Sunshine Artist Magazine and features free admission, food vendors, and kids' activities. The festival takes place on the first three blocks of Washington Avenue in downtown Grand Haven, Michigan, a popular Lake Michigan beach town that is 35 minutes from Grand Rapids and three hours from Chicago, Traverse City, and Detroit.
The 65th Annual Grand Haven Art Festival runs Friday 12pm-5pm, Saturday 10am-5pm, and Sunday 11am-4pm from June 26-28, 2026. Artists must submit 4 digital images of work plus 1 digital image of outdoor booth display. Items sold must be original and handcrafted by the displaying artist. Categories include Clay, Digital Art, Drawing, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Metal, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, and Wood.
The jury fee is $35 (Early Bird Discount of $5 off available before December 17, 2025), with booth fees of $285 due April 18, 2026. Artist amenities include Best in Show and Jury's Choice awards with cash prizes and automatic acceptance to 2027 festival, complimentary breakfast and snacks, roaming booth sitters, artist-only parking, extensive marketing promotion, paid security, and artist brochure with contact information.
