Gone to the Dogs with Friends

Biennial juried exhibition for artworks depicting the dog. This year's theme includes "With Friends," allowing artists to add other pets or animals that relate to the dog. All artworks must feature a dog or a hint of the dog such as a tail or paw. All media accepted including oil, acrylic, watercolor, drawing, ink, assemblage, collage, prints, photography, and sculpture (stone, clay, wood, paper, paper maché, bronze). Juror: Niza Knoll, gallery owner and curator.

Entry fee is $35.00. Submissions must include 1-3 images. All art must be original, created by the artist, and delivered in person to the gallery (no shipped packages accepted). Work must be exhibition-ready with secure wire hanging on the back. Maximum dimensions: 48 inches wide x 60 inches high. 3D work must not exceed 30 pounds; wall-hung sculpture cannot exceed 25 pounds. All artwork must be marked clearly on the back with artist name, title, medium, size, and price. Art previously shown in the gallery will not be accepted.

Accepted artists must provide a one-paragraph artist statement. All work must remain for the duration of the exhibit and be available for sale. Niza Knoll Gallery retains a 40% commission on all sales. Payment for sold artwork will be issued within 40 days after the exhibition closes. Awards of recognition will be given, with Best of Show receiving $150. Delivery dates: Saturday, June 13 between 3-5 p.m. or Wednesday, June 17 between 1-2 p.m. (dates subject to change due to COVID-19).
