About This Call
The 69th Gold Coast Art Fair, known as the "Granddaddy of American Art Festivals," returns to Grant Park in Chicago. The Gold Coast Art Fair is the 3rd oldest and one of the most well-attended art festivals in Chicago, located within walking distance of the Art Institute, The Bean, and Buckingham Fountain. The festival features approximately 250 artists displayed with lake views and park vistas backed by the Chicago skyline. Paved walks lead to every booth, and every artist is positioned on the main loop.
Artists keep all their sales income from the show. Setup is the Friday before the show or Saturday morning, with dolly-in available. Amdur Productions staff is present throughout the festival to assist artists and provide booth-sitting services. Overnight security is provided from load-in through load-out. Discounted artist parking is available (fee applies). Additional services include equipment rental (tents, tent weights, tables, chairs), valet service, pro-panel walls, hotel room discounts, and an artist break room with refreshments. Awards are bestowed at the festival.
Application deadline is January 18, 2027, with notifications sent online by February 18, 2027. Late applications accepted thereafter. Registration forms and show fees are due by March 18, 2027. Booth spaces are 12' wide by 10' deep ($775, includes permit) or 20' wide by 10' deep ($1,475, includes permit). Corner fee upgrade is an additional $200. All artwork must be created by the artist(s) applying and be original work made for sale. White tents are required, and all tables must be skirted to the ground. Artists must be present during all festival hours.
