About This Call
Coastal Arts League presents Going Coastal - All Media Show, running May 28 – June 29, 2026. This exhibition is open to regional artists, 18 years and older, living in the SF Bay Area. Media categories include Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Ceramics, Photography, and Fiber. The theme is Going Coastal.
Entry deadline is May 1, 2026, through OnlineJuriedShows. Entry fees are $45 for members (first entry) plus $5 for each additional entry up to 3, or $55 for non-members (first entry) plus $5 for each additional entry up to 3. Artwork must be hand-delivered May 25, Noon - 4 pm, and picked up June 29, Noon - 4 pm. A reception will be held May 30, 1 - 4 pm. Jurors to be announced. Four Merit Awards will be given: $100 and $50.
Submissions must be original work of the artist and not recently displayed in this gallery. All exhibited work must be for sale. Two-dimensional artwork must not exceed 36" in width. Gallery wrapped canvas must be a minimum of 1" in depth. Use plexiglass in framed pieces larger than 24 x 30". If accepted, bring an 8.5 x 11 page with your artist's statement and contact details on white paper for the Book of Artists. Images of the artist at work are encouraged. Coastal Arts League collects sales tax and retains a 40% commission to support gallery programs. 60% of the purchase price is remitted to the artist at the close of the show. The gallery accepts no liability for loss or damage to pieces in the show. Security cameras are installed in the galleries to discourage theft. You grant Coastal Arts League permission to use entered work for promotion on the website and for future shows. All rights to submitted images remain the property of the artist.
Acceptable file formats: JPG, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, no larger than 3 MB, sRGB color profile. Images must be high quality, in sharp focus, and a true representation of the original art. Images of 2D art should include only the artwork, no frame.
