GO FISH

The Cloyde Snook Gallery at Adams State University seeks artwork in all media for a national juried exhibition titled "GO FISH." This exhibition seeks contemporary interpretations that are conceptually and/or literally inspired by Fish, Fishing, or Aquatic Fauna. All mediums will be considered.

Eligibility: All artists 18 years of age and older residing in the United States may enter. Work must be original and completed within the last two years. Artists may submit up to 3 images for review. All media will be considered. Accepted 2D artwork must be properly framed with plexi-glass or prepared for exhibition; no glass is permitted on 2D artwork. Shipped work must conform to UPS restrictions: 130" girth plus length (crated) and 150 lbs. (crated). Work deemed very fragile by the Gallery Director must be set and struck by the artist or the work will not be exhibited and/or insured.

Prizes and Details: "Best in Show" will be offered a future solo exhibition at the Cloyde Snook Gallery. All proceeds from works sold go directly to the artist; the gallery takes no commission but encourages donations of 10 to 20%. Accepted works will be insured while on university premises. Works in transit or left at ASU after Monday, April 22, 2019 will not be covered. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping costs and must enclose a prepaid return shipping label via UPS or FedEx. The gallery will retain any works for which shipping or pick-up arrangements have not been made prior to the exhibition. Entry fee: $35. Exhibition dates: March 11 - April 18, 2019. Opening reception: Thursday, March 14, 5-7 pm. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email by Tuesday, February 5, 2019.
