Glow Up: The New Neon

The Chihuly Collection is seeking entries for a juried exhibition for artists working in the medium of neon glass. This is a national exhibition open to any artist age 18 or older living in the continental US. The exhibition draws a connection to Dale Chihuly's Blue Neon Tumbleweed in the Collection and aims to amplify the voices of artists who utilize neon glass in their practices.

The exhibition will be held at the Chihuly Collection in St. Petersburg, FL from January 24 – April 19, 2026. Submissions should include images of 1 to 2 works of art and a $30 entry fee. You may submit up to 4 images total (two images per work to show different views). Artwork may be any theme or subject matter, though the Chihuly Collection is a family-friendly venue. Size limit for work submitted is 60 inches in any direction, with a weight limit of 50 pounds. All artwork submitted must be at least 50% made of neon glass material.

Eligibility requirements: All work must be original, completed within the last three years, and not previously exhibited at the Morean. The Morean's curatorial staff has final authority for selection. Entry deadline is November 15, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MST.
